The North Course is one of the two championship golf course's at La Manga Club and with the South Course, has hosted the European PGA Qualifying School and LPGA Qualifying School this year.

The North Course is the shorter of the two, measuring approximately 6400 yards (5753 metres) from the white tees, with a par of 71 and a standard scratch of 69 (from the yellow tees). It is a similar style to the South Course but is more hilly and picturesque. Recently the golf course has undergone redevelopment and much building work of new home's and apartment's is apparent as you make your way around the course, although this does not detract from the enjoyment of the course. You do have more space here than on the West course, so you can open your shoulders on certain holes.

The 14th with its drive over barranca situated about 200 yards from the tee and water to the left is a most challenging golf hole, as is the 18th with its green directly in front of the Hyatt hotel.

All in all this is a good test of golf if you avoid the barranca and water, the only down side is crossing back and forth under the main through road a couple of times and one or two steep climbs and descents.
